Statements on Clontarf CCÉ & Clasaċ

In response to public speculation regarding Clontarf CCÉ and the Comhaltas Clasaċ project at Clontarf, the Ardchomhairle of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann has released a statement on Clontarf. See also the Statement on Clontarf and the Statement of Support of the Ardstiúrthóir, both adopted by the Annual Congress of Comhaltas on 2 May, 2008.

Fleadh Nua in Full Swing!

A very special concert takes place in Cois na hAbhna on Wednesday night featuring Seán Ó Sé and the Turloughmore Céilí Band.

The band is from Clare and the name is inspired by the landscape and geology of the northern part of the County. The music reflects the styles of County Clare. Together with the legend that is Seán Ó Sé the night will consist of the presentation of a series of songs in both Irish and English drawn from their new recording.
