Tulla Comhaltas was established in September 1957 and went on to host the County Fleadh Cheoil in 1958. It’s therefore highly appropriate that the Town is hosting the 2008 Clare Fleadh on this the 50th anniversary of that momentous event.
Renowned fiddle player and gentleman Paddy Canny is Hon. Life President of the Tulla Comhaltas Branch.

Friday 20th – Launch of Traditional Irish Music C.D. By Sen. Labhrás O’Murchú “Are YOU the Concertina Player?” - Local Concertina player Kate McNamara launches her first C.D. Venue Minogues Bar @ 9pm
Saturday 21st – Fleadh Céili with Andrew McNamara and Friends Venue – Minogues Bar Tulla 10pm C.C. €8

Anyone wishing to enter one of the competitions at a County Fleadh Cheoil must submit their entry form to the Fleadh Secretary not later than 21 days before the Fleadh date. Entry forms can be downloaded from the Comhaltas website.
