The Senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann is always one of the most watched and anticipated annual events on the Irish music calendar. We’re here down in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, the host city for this year’s Fleadh Cheoil, and I’ve just watched the last band leave the stage. The standard was fantastic.
